What a place this is had a awesome morning here making our way around the site clambering across rusty walkways and finding all the live machines. Brunner Mond Soda Ash Works, Winnington (Northwich) - June 2013
Soda Ash has been produced on this site since 1874, although the existing works are no where near that old, they are still pretty old. Brunner Mond became part of ICI in 1926 and the separated out again in 1991. They were brought by Tata Chemicals in 2006 and re-branded as such. There is...- Maniac
