History;
Dalton Mills was once the largest textile mill in the region, employing over 2000 workers. It was built by Joseph Craven in 1869, replacing the original mill which was owned by Rachel Leach in the 1780's.
The mill was named Dalton Mills after the manager employed...
Lovely little mill had a great explore although the floors on every level are very very unstable haha had a few moments in this on.
Been here a while back and didnt manage to get in and wasnt overly bothered about coming back but when i finally saw it i loved it :)

After a long trip earlier on in the weekend a short trip over to Bradford and Huddersfield was the plan for the day, a few frustrating fails later we found ourselves in Keighley outside Dalton Mills waiting for the builders to piss off so we could make our way in and after a short wait we was...
This was a great visit, apart from the fact I had a really bad cold!
22 flights of stairs climbed and we finally were at the top... I almost died there and then through coughing!
There wasn't much of interest in the actual tower itself as it was pretty stripped out, but the views from the roof...

Well after seeing the report on another site I had to go and boy did i get a surprise !, history has been done many times before so on with the pics... some you will have seen and some you might not have seen !.....
