Strange to...
It's been a long time that I posted something here. Missing the time for the editing of the photo's. This was my last explore and it was an underground adventure with the same partner of all the underground explores. It's was an iron mine that closed several decades ago like many others in...

A. E. was a successful craftsman building music instruments. He met a girl, married her and became father of two kids. Sadly he died early. His wife, getting older, decided to bequeath everything to the kids. But she became very old and outlived her kids. When Ms E. died she was 99 years old and...
A large abandoned iron mine with miles of tunnels and several levels. We've been here 3 times and still not seen a fraction of it. Yet we walked 20 Km in there. There should be some big vehicles in there but only found some tracks. But we found a lot of little things like old miner boot with...
Two weeks ago I decided to visit a small mill that I had on my list for a long time. At Google Maps I saw two buildings that turned out to be the mill and the miller's residential building. I did'nt expect too much but was very happy in the end. Although the mill is abandoned for many years it...
Another visit from October with @Andy, @Maniacand@extreme_ironing. From seeing Andy's report I missed quite a few bits but you can't see everything unless you spend the whole day down there. Another epic bit of WW2 history and there's lots more out there.

Enjoy.
A tiny limestone quarry full of many different cars and trucks. And also what looks like an industrial size torture machine.
Place is now used for the growing of mushrooms, and most of the vehicles are decorating the owner's garden ... :(

It was a lucky chance find on the way of a tour.
Judging by documents abandoned since 2003 and much grown from the outside, so that the house has obviously entered no one for years. Inside a wealth of details and above all countless spiderwebs along with their cute builders - both in living...
Afternoon all,
This was one that we visited during our 56 hour trip to Belgium. Was quite trashed but some nice details made for about an hours photography.
Not sure on the history but it was a hospice/religious establishment.
