The History
St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church has been derelict since the last mass took place in October 1995 - In 1877, the second designed rebuild was done by Mr. Goldie, of the firm of Messrs - Goldie & Child, London. Originally, The first service was held on 22nd January, 1871, in a small...
This is one of the easiest explorations I've ever done. Not only were most of the doors unlocked, but the place has a nice convenient parking spot no one can see. There is no wood floors, no secret basement, nothing to make you worry. If you hate water, maybe this isn't your place, but overall I...
Hi all! Not sure on the history of this place but its been around a while. Not a bad place. Not that exciting but we were passing so thought we would have a mooch! A couple of nice cars.
Closed due to two local schools merging and getting a newly built school to move into
Planning permission has been given to demolish the site and build houses
Visited with the elusive , and thanks for the tipoff K
On with the snaps...
Spotted this while out and about so popped in for a look, not a great deal left behind
In the middle of a small town on the Shropshire border
Had to be fairly quiet as it is surrounded by houses
Looks like its not been lived in for a couple of years
A stable block out back, loads of TV sets...
I stumbled on this house a few years ago right after I got my first DSLR. When I was walking around outside a passerby asked me if I saw a little girl in the window as everybody says they see a ghost there. Whatever. Went in and took a bunch of pics (quality isn't that great as I didn't know...
An independent members only club, dedicated to the working man who required a certain place for private meetings and events.
This place has a little bit of everything. Dark, creepy unlit rooms, and rooms where light was still flourishing through the gaps and crevices.
It has had many aliases...
We had no idea how we would get on here. After driving through the night and arriving in the early hours, our entry was just awful! As we sat in the freezing cold, and the light started to appear at the windows, we could see it was worth the effort. Visited with @SpiderMonkey, obvs!

The old abandoned farmhouse - Charnock Richard - Chorley - Feb 2018
One of my favourite explores so far this old abandoned farmhouse was brimming with history and fortunately, we made it just before the bulldozers did.
I've seen plenty of footage of this old place on the web and it seems we...
I have found a location close to me in West Yorkshire that has been covered before, the site is nearly completely destroyed but the main barn and some of the out buildings still exist.
I enjoyed looking around the site and turning it into a cinematic style video (i hope i aren't hated for it...
The Old Unknown Farmhouse - Chorley - Photographic Report - Feb 2018
I struggled to find any history on this stunning location except for the multitude of artifacts left inside from photographs to a pencil sketch by a man called Brian jay and the possibility that the property was once owned by...
A post-apocalyptic look into Granada Studios old coronation street set!
I felt I had to do this one considering I am a Mancunian and all, but sometimes these expeditions don't always go to plan.
This one has been long in the making and a good way to end 2017. I've been to the newer bit more times than I care to admit, however the older bit had alluded me for a long time. After multiple visits and too many fails to count we finally managed it with a bit of good timing and dash of good...
Visited today with my daughter, my first 'underground, for me as not done a tunnel before and found it most enjoyable despite my claustrophobia , was longer than I thought and decent Torches are the next purchase for me now !!
