When I see abandoned houses, there's always a lot of questions that go through my mind. The biggest one with this was 'why would you not want to live in a house with such an amazing view, which isn't all that remote?' It overlooks a lake with mountains all around. Sure its east facing and could be harsh with little sunshine in winter but even so...
On the outside the farmhouse has a more new appearance than you'd expect but looks and feels old inside. It is a typical rural Welsh farmhouse with its bits and bobs like tatty notes about livestock, an aga and the ever-present piano. As ubiquitous then as TVs are now. And of course hymn books which show the massive part that chapels had on peoples lives from the 1840's till the 1970's.
Anyway before this turns into a sociology dissertation lets get to the photos -
