This former luxury hotel, which was reserved for the political elite, is located in the middle of the mountains of Medvednica (Bear Mountain).
Medvednica is a very popular local recreation destination for the people of Zagreb, as it can be reached from the city center in a short time.
There are also several kilometers of mountain bike routes that are signposted and well frequented.
In winter it is a popular ski resort with several slopes and lifts - the best equipped in northern Croatia.
You can also take the cable car up into the mountains.
Here you have a great view of the wonderful nature.
Unfortunately, I don't know exactly when the hotel was closed and what it's called.
