Great Britain Bracknell Dry Ski slope - Oct 2020

Carried out a fly by today as this has closed during lockdown and papers have reported several arrests of people breaking in to steal and vandalise - as a result it is securely closed and patrolled (allegedly - didn't see anyone) - as a result was only able to get pics of the dry slope but hoping to get into main building in the future.
Just a few pics but thought I'd post as a little different.
John Nike Leisuresport Bracknell (home of the Bracknell Bees ice hockey team) opened in 1985 for dry slope skiing and in 1987 for ice skating.

Interesting; something different than the "usual" abandoned places. When was the ski slope closed?

The site closed in March at the beginning of lockdown but they announced in July it will not re-open
