Brogyntyn Hall has stood abandoned for 15 years. It was owned by the Lord Harlech until 2000. Settled in the 1600s the house and its estate once presided over the land as far as the eye can see. The family was one of the great English dynasties and owners of Harlech Castle in North Wales as well.
Unfortunately a string of tragedies including two Lords Harlech dying without wills, leaving massive death duties to be paid, saw the decline of the family fortunes and subsequent sale of the Hall. Interestingly it was also used during the war by British Telecom as headquarters for communications for the spy network operating in Europe.
Popped in here after a good walk around Shelton park hospital a couple months ago, its not my best set of pictures but a lot of fun was had whilst taking them!

After hearing that this place was armed with sensors and a general twat to navigate around I wasn't that hopeful that we would even get inside but after a quick look about we was in
Whilst walking around the basement joking about how easy the access was we forgot about the sensors, the alarm starts blaring out so we legged it and found ourselves stuck in a room hiding from some people who came in to reset the alarm, after they left we realised we was stuck in-between 2 sensors so we had to climb out of the window and start again...
after some looking around in the basement avoiding the sensors we stumbled across a dumb waiter, a tight squeeze later we was finally upstairs and free of the sensors we thought..
After eventually finding our way to the nicer part we walked straight past a sensor and the alarm started going off, again At this point we thought fuck it, got a few quick pictures and ran for the hills!
Cheers for looking
