Brunswick School
Also known as the Hull School of Architecture, plans for the Blundell Street School began in 1871 and it was eventually built with Victorian brick, opening in 1878.
It became a grade two listed building in 1993 for its gothic revival styling features. Later on in life, it was used as the The University of Lincolnshire and Humberside's student union venue.
Sadly, it closed in 1998 and was sold onto a property developer who wanted to turn it into apartments and car parks. A mysterious fire happened at the property in 1999 and put an immediate stop to the plans.
The beautiful building fell victim to more fires in April of 2016 and yet all plans to demolish the former school have been rejected & it now has grade 2 listing status.
Hull City Council ordered the buildings owner to repair it or pay sanctions, however, the building still stands derelict.
To be honest this place is beyond nackered Ill be surprised if anything ever happens with it. it made a pleasant wee explore though & there is still some decent pics to be had.
I even ventured up the stairs or what is left of them!
