The palace was built in the 14th - 15th centuries and extended especially in the second half of the 17th century. Recently, the aristocratic estate was inhabited by a painter & artist.

I don't know since when the palace is abandoned.

Access was through lots of scrub and stinging nettles. Inside, unfortunately, a lot has been stolen in recent years. Such as art books, easels and a telescope. But the place is still very nice.

Lovely set there Andy! Beautiful place. Would like to see this myself next time I'm in Italy.

The place is really nice. And also access is easy (except for the nettles and blackberry thorns). So you should wear long pants when visiting the palace, at least in the summer. It's warm, but more comfortable for your legs.

Yes, unfortunately. While a re-visit you will notice many changes. However, for me it was my first visit there, and the place was very nice for that.

I actually wanted to visit the place already two years ago. But in the end, I didn't have enough time. That's why I've seen the palace just now.
