Chateau Verdure, France - September 2015

Situated in a wealthy area outside Paris we almost thought we were in the wrong place for this one but it was just well hidden amongst the trees. I don't know any history about the place unfortunately but it was clearly once a very grand house which has been left to rot for one reason or another. We spent an hour or so in here while it was chucking it down outside before heading onto a party with a bunch of French (& English) nutters

I guess they no longer had the money to maintain the place, either that or the owner died and had nobody to leave it to I guess. Although judging by the number of dolls around the place you would assume there is a next generation. Fuck knows basically!

Not often I look at a report and go "wow" at every pic! Even one of a weird doll thing playing the piano haha. Damo, perfect!

I loved the look of it from the first picture, that ironwork on the first pic of those stairs is beautiful, the decay is perfect, the little ornate bits around the top of the doors top it off. MASSIVE thumbs up

I hated the wall. (It was raining and wet, so I slipped and I ripped my arm.)
