History:
This place where you are looking at right now, was an old chocolate works, where they made all kinds of sweets on a very small and traditional scale. In 1992 this place closed down due to its small scale it wasn't efficient anymore to keep it open.

Today after 28 years of decay this factory is in really rough shape. Nevertheless it still was really nice to see, with all the old machinery and other artifacts it was just wonderful to wander around.

Unfortunately I didn't really took a lot of photos this was due to the bad lightning in nearly all of the halls.

Fascinating place, and nice to see that no vandalism has happened in all the time its been abandoned.

I like the place. I was there for the first time over 7 years ago. At that time the roof had not collapsed yet and the (pretty agressive) widow of the former factory owner was still living in the house next door, so the visit at that time was a bit tricky.
After the woman has died, and there are no heirs, the municipality tried several times to auction the area, but there were no buyers. In the meantime the house of the widow has also collapsed in large parts. But inside, in the midst of decay, there is still an old kitchen, a living room with a TV and a dining room with a table and lamp, but everything is very messy. There is also an old safe in an extension building of the factory. (I just visited the place again last weekend, I'll show my photos soon).
