Christmas Common Relay Tower – June 2014
Visited with TBM a while back in June, the delay is down to needing to take the time to edit the video. We visited what we HOPE is a disused relay tower. It has one drum, maybe a repeater, on the side but the land is so overgrown and unkempt I’m not sure.
Formerly a Radio Relay site and a USAF Microwave Transmission Tower, it looks like this was used until recently and is in a decaying state.
It looks like it was used up until maybe the last 2 or 3 years. The MOD sold the site in 2004.
