This steam engine graveyard is a paradise for railway enthusiasts.
There are dozens of steam locomotives here, including those from Hentschel, Kraus-Maffei, Krupp and Schichau and other manufacturers. Most of these are class 22, 41, 44, 50 and the class 52 war locomotive. Only a fraction of many have survived, while others are still in relatively good condition.
There are a few more exhibits in the 18-stall engine shed. such as B. wagons, vintage cars, shunting locomotives and an E94 "German Crocodile".
Many other rarities from railway history can be found on the extensive grounds.
A tram, a water tower, water cranes, various tenders and wagons.
The site is privately owned and can only be visited legally for a small donation. Since there has been increased theft here and at the adjacent freight station, the entire site (including the private, adjacent forest) is monitored by cameras and a security service is also regularly on the move.
