This building was formerly the guest house of the GDR Council of Ministers. Built in 1952, many great personalities (including Kim Il-sung, Lotte Ulbricht and Horst Sindermann) from politics, art and culture spent their holidays here at the invitation of the GDR government.

Today the property is empty and is unfortunately falling into disrepair.
