First post on here so go easy but CC welcome
Been meaning to pop in here since seeing a post last year (thanks for the heads up) and I manage a steel stockholder & fabricators myself so it struck a particular chord!
I didnt research any history before going & as I walked around presumed that the company had folded as there is an alarming amount of paperwork left behind with personal phone numbers on & company accounts / invoices etc. It was only later I realised that they have relocated & are still going strong.
I know how difficult relocating a company like this is as we have recently done the same but someone needs a kick up the backside for some of the sensitive material left behind.
Anyway not much history available other than it was founded in 1949 & relocated in 2015 (which ties in nicely with all the calendars still open on July 15)
There is a lot of small junk left and a few small machines but all the big stuff has gone leaving cavernous pits around the place. It still made a relaxed explore with my lad for a few hours though.
