[Strange Artifact]

There are those places that are photographed very, very often. 'Doel' in Belgium is one of them. We accidentally visited it, well almost. It was on our way home, there was enough evening light left and perhaps dinner. It became just photo's. I decided for a black and white serie.

Nothing new here, but hope it will be a nice look for somebody who is interested in this almost ghost village. For one i was happy i did visit it.

Yes you can enter a lot of the buildings, but the last 25 people who live there are not that keen if they see you do that and there are signs asking polite not to do that. So we didn't. Most is thrashed anyway.

Looks really good in B&W. It's a fab place to spend a couple of hours.. Only shit is the cafe bar closes on Saturday.
