Great Britain Everbloom mushroom factory-Manston (REPORT)

Everbloom Mushroom farm was one of the first large scale commercial mushroom growers in the world. It is established in 1980. Everbloom is considered to be one of the few companies cultivating Shiitake mushrooms indoors under environmentally controlled conditions, using "artificial substrate", made of sawdust and organic materials. The farm produced around 1500 kg of shiitake mushrooms each day.

Everbloom has approx. 20 growing houses with logs of mushrooms in each house. The growing houses were equipped with automatically controlled misting, ventilation and lighting.

I am unsure of when this factory closed but the company still cultivates mushrooms in other countries and is still one of the largest cultivating companies in the world.

This factory is situated at Manston and has been left to decay. Remains of equipment and stock are still present to date.

That doesn't sound good man, I aint heard anything about these guys, though if you get mauled you can sue the fuck out of them. Also if you don't think they were security / owners of the land you could complain to the police.

The whole area up there being semi-rural is a little bit odd. There's a lot of fly tipping that goes on in that location as I'm sure you noticed, and the locals do keep an eye on the place. I'm pretty sure there's an odd story surrounding the whole business as it didn't appear to be open for long, the buildings certainly don't look that old and to me it had an odd feeling when looking round the place.

as far as im aware here are no land owners with dogs! i think they were probably wanting to get in there for something and didnt want you guys about. Fortknox0 would be the best person to ask, im pretty sure he has spoken to the land owners and they were fine, (dont quote me on that though). As for dogs, they would be put down if they went for you! Probably had too much booze and thinks hes 'hard geeze' :lol:
