Thanks to DesertionPhotography, Frosty and co for showing me this place.

One word, F**ked! Well OK, if you look beyond the initial destruction you can still work out how the place functioned. There are 24 grow rooms, 12 down each side of a central corridor which were all environmentally controlled, heating lighting ventilation and humidity. I presume they grew the mushrooms in rotation, while one room was being harvested, another room was being setup. There's also a large packing and loading area, staff rooms and offices, but the whole place has suffered badly at the hands of the local copper thieves, which is hardly surprising considering its semi rural location.

The thing that got me about the whole place was the sheer amount of stuff that's been left, boxes and packaging, loads of paperwork showing a grim financial situation, records of orders and shipments etc. and loads of paraphernalia used in the cultivation, most of which is in pretty good nik! I wonder how much this place must have cost to setup initially, as it's a pretty expensive setup by the looks of it.

Anyway, on with a few photos.

This is the corridor that runs the entire length of the building, with the grow rooms off each side of it.

And this is what one of the grow rooms looks like inside

There are piles of stuff in some of the grow rooms just left there.

I presume this was for loading trucks etc.

There's a huuuuge fridge which is still pretty clean it has to be said

And the gear that runs it. At first I thought this was a generator, but after a while I realised it's actually a massive compressor for the refrigerator gear.

Some of the products they Produced (this stuff didn't smell very nice)

Like most places of its type it's not terrible interesting, but if you look hard enough there's still enough bits and pieces to make it worthwhile (y)

good report mate and nice photos. Its a real shame that this place has been so trashed. when we found it, it was in a pretty untouched condition. When frosty saw it then the place was pretty bad but its now even worse. If it could possibly get any more trashed then i dont this it would be standing lol. Thats the local chavs for ya! and then we get the blame for these places when we explore them. Was a good night though and anyone wanting to see this place i suggest you get down there quick as it has been in the local news paper and i think it will be sealed pretty soon and there is still loads of bits to see!
