Huge halls lead the eye, hundreds of offices, a paint shop in the absence of the robots, a thermal power station and the excavators have gnawed and a wheel rim production that was already safely withdrawn.

Ford had its first plant in Belgium on January 30, 1922 in Antwerp. Work, in the 1960s the workers in the Cologne plant die just above man where a new plant belongs. Concerns about subpositions and affected wages much the selection on the right mining town of Genk.
Shortly after the new plant, the systems in Antwerp were dismantled and tractor rules were implemented here with immediate effect.

Here you have distinguished yourself from Ford models, heard Mondeo, S-Max and Galaxy.
In over 50 years of history, a little more than 14 million cars were distinguished here
In October 1964 the person in charge was here with the production of Transit and Taunus.
In the 80s many robots and the sierra were turned around here.
1993 is called the production of the Mondeo.
In 2000 the production of the transit in Turkey was relocated.
Since 1965, 1,857,635 transit left the tapes in Genk.

On December 18, 2014, the Ford plant in Genk was closed and 4,300 employees lost their jobs.
If you count the deaths around 6000 people have lost their jobs.
Newspaper reports annually every employee, rights, 144,000 EUR intention.
The Ford plant was once the other automobile plant in Belgium.

Of the 135 hectares of the factory premises, 95 hectares are to be part of a new industrial and commercial area.
Except for 4 buildings everything was razed to the ground. The large track systems directly on the canal are also heard.
In the last, the first companies have moved in there.

I really like this. Can't remember seeing a car plant posted relatively intact like this.
Vast! although expected I guess.

Not sure if this is down to translation or something, but its a grim sentence!
If you count the deaths around 6000 people have lost their jobs.
