Explored on the first day of the year of double digits in temperature, a whole 10 centigrade !. This was explored with two non-forum members and had a large twist to my usual explores, we when to this location to have a mess around photoshoot with 40's dresses... sorry i didnt put one on ;].
Short history copied from my first vist : An automotive parts factory which was shut down towards the end of 2008 after being in operation for 20 years. Upon closure the factory axed 200 jobs. In its prime the factory supplied a lot of parts to major manufacturers in the general area. Will add a couple of shots from the shoot of the two lovely ladys, and link the rest to the bottom, unless you want to see more
Upon walking up to the location, fires from pikes where evident from the outside, which was a shame to see
Cars can't go in, but apparently people can , also i guess it stops people loading up vans
Not much has changed inside besides the more graffiti
First off a quick twirl for the two lasses
Sadly the forklift had gone =[
Workers forgot some of their stuff, surprised these where still here, nearly everything has been stripped out
We took a break and stopped for a spot of tea
After one of the girls nearly fell down this.. we wondered where the hell it goes too.. saddly it was flooded .. hmm
From a distance we couldn't work how this was floating... saddly no poltergeists =[ but a thin wire
We found HENRY ! (love you if you get this)
The room we took these photos in .. really stunk of gas.. which was kinda alarming o.o
The girls where being flirty, sadly there where no workers =[
And the upstairs was more trashed then i remember
Quick shot from the roof
The girls where getting bored d:
So we decided to go check out the secca hut
Oh so advanced ;]
How these where still here ill never know, a few yards from the main road...
And finally ending with a funny face d:
cheers for looking rest can be seen : http://www.flickr.com/photos/urdex/sets/72157633207751010/ & http://www.flickr.com/photos/shaddam/sets/72157633198499692/with/8632222253/
