Formerly, a barracks of the German Army was on the 610 m high hill. Later the area was in use by the US military. The directional antennas at the lattice tower were removed in 2007.

Unfortunately a lot of trash and vandalism today, but still some nice details.

A small part of the area is still active and in use.

That's really cool @Andy, I don't mind graffiti when it's done that well :)

Thanks! :)

There was much more graffiti, also many very bad ones. But of course I didn't take any pictures of them.

By the way: On Facebook it was asked why I even named such a trash-location with a fake name. Well, I almost never tell the real name of an abandoned place, no matter what condition. In addition, a small part of the area is still in use.

But honestly, I thought this commentary / question is also a bit funny and contradictory. Because: If it's just a destroyed trash-location (and therefore uninteresting) - why should it be interesting or important otherwise, to know the real name...?

Just as a side note...
