This Hotel was on of the most expensive Hotels in the world.
It was open 1972 and cost 45 Mio. Dollar (today this is 289 Mio. Dollar).
A lot of famous people, like Henry Ford II, Saddam Hussein, Silvio Berluscon, Olof Palme and many more stayed in the Hotel.
During the war a lot of refugees stayed there. When the leave after the war, the take a lot of the hotel equipment with them.
The Hotel was closed in November 2002.
Today the Haludovo Palace Hotel is a ruin and is still left to decay.
A newspaper from Austria describes the hotel as “Europe's most famous lost place”.
