This place used to be a huge chemical plant specialized in paint production and it was shut down more than 10 years ago. All the buildings in the premises were sealed for good, but after some years looters began getting inside and now this plant is almost completely empty and scrapped. Although, for some reason there is still one warehouse almost completely intact.
This place is "inside" (or very near) another factory which is 100% active, so checking all the structures was a bit tricky. Luckily that day there was some fog in the area which helped us wandering without being seen. The atmosphere was very "Silent Hill"-like.
When we finally found the unit we came for, there wasn't much light left and we heard some activity noises: power units, working pumps, stuff like that. These noises came from a dark area of the warehouse. There wasn't anybody there, but since we couldn't check for motion sensors or cameras, we didn't take a peek but stayed where we could actually see somethin
Those machines were working because the recovery process is going to start really soon I think.
