The huge area is guarded by several fences, cameras and active security guards.
We crept through the botany at dawn, had to overcome 4 fences and avoid a camera dome before we stood in the gigantic halls.
Since it was still too dark, we stayed in one of the control rooms and waited for a better light.
This steel mill, which closed in 2011, is impressive.
Unfortunately we could only look at the steelworks and the continuous casting plant.
But these halls are just too huge and there are still a number of interesting objects there.
The rest of the area is so monitored by cameras that there is hardly any possibility to explore the rest of the complex.
In all areas, security is still on the move by vehicle. During our 7 hour stay we saw the vehicle 4 times.
On the way back we found that the security had marked 2 holes in the fence (through which we had come) with tape and closed them.
