Great Britain Hell House, Alrewas - January 2016

The Explore

Theres a few reports around of this place so I expect some will be aware of why this place gets the name "hell house" 

We knew what to expect before going in but nothing can really prepare you for the sights and smells inside here and hearing what happened here makes it even sadder. Not the best pics I've ever taken as it was a case of get around and take some pics quickly and get out! 

The History

This history is copied from a previous report - The husband seemed to have left the house for good, Leaving the wife alone. At some point sadly she suffered from a illness which left her bed bond and unable to care for her dogs.With that said, the dogs became dependant. Dogs slowly become panicked and desperate when hungry and soon it became a battle of the strongest, where the weaker ones got picked on and eaten but sadly over time they all died due to starvation. The woman didn't have no contact with the outside world, and survived off bottled water, until her illness overcame her and sadly passed away.

That really is a depressing story, I'm not sure I'd fancy visiting here. I can almost smell these photos! Is that all dog poop on the floor in that last shot??

this place fascinates me, sounds like it has a very strong (and negative) vibe to it, any buildings that hole a strong sense of feeling always grab my attention, good or bad i find them fascinating, its almost like the walls absorb the sadness of what theyve seen, thanks for sharing dude

I couldnt find it after about 5 mins on Google, however it is in a village, and looking at its surroundings does narrow it down at bit.

I was told it had been put up for sale, i guess the estate/trustees or estate agents would rather it history disappear, it was certainly a pet rescue at one stage

History of it isnt that easy to come by really, i'm very local to it so may have to investigate further that way.

Im in Alrewas... i saw reference to its Animal Rescue title, cant find a thing though
