Hey everyone! I just joined here a couple days ago.
We started exploring abandoned world war bunkers and fortifications a couple weeks ago when visiting France. After your regular vacation of guided tours and museums, we decided to go out on our own, and explored several Forts in the Verdun area - which turned out to be way more our thing than prefabricated experiences! The feeling of getting to explore such a building in our own pace, in solitude, in its (mostly) natural state of deprecation is a unique and wonderful experience.
We've since been to the Maginot Line, where we plan to explore more during the coming weeks!
