Visited with some friends from the Netherlands at the end of October, we had planned to make a day of visiting HF4 but we were thwarted in our efforts to get into the main power station so we settled for the cooling towers at HF4 and IM (and a couple of other sites too). Both of these are huge and make you feel tiny to be standing in the centre of them. Someone's decided that an odd hut should be put in the middle of the HF4 one. No idea what it's for - it's certainly no control room!
Getting under the IM tower was a bit tricky with all the mud and having to keep an eye on the water level was a laugh
Most on here will know these places but first time for me, so still a bit of a novelty. Hope to see a bit more of Belgium's dereliction in the new year..
