Disused rather than abandoned, this hotel has been empty for around 40 years in parts and 20 years in others. Located in the snowy German mountains much of it's custom came from skiers but eventually it stopped making enough money to continue a viable business. Rather than sell for a pittance the owners decided to keep the hotel and pimp it out as a film location from time to time. It's clearly been maintained enough to avoid heavy decay creeping in but there is a constant buzzing of flies in most rooms and ancient cobwebs on the windows. It's a proper time capsule that hasn't been touched for years in places.
