This place is quite personal to me even if its not the greatest explore in the world.
John lived in the village I grew up & was a well known character, as you can see from his rather staggering CV he was a very clever chap but after many failures & illnesses in his life he became a 50 year old paperboy living with his mum!
Credit where its due though he has even managed to make that sound glamorous stating he is currently "involved with newspaper distribution" & was well known for doing his rounds in a suit!
John was a super friendly guy but lived in poor conditions which deteriorated when his mother died some. I have good knowledge the ground floors were gone while he was still in residence.
This was one of them places so close that I completely forgot about for many years, when I suddenly remembered this I arranged a visit as quick as poss which happened to be Christmas day 18, with a revisit a few weeks later early last year.
It really was pitch black in here so photography was an issue.
Wish I was as clever as this guy.
No My tripod hadnt broke! the floors had collapsed & the kitchen unit has been sitting at this angle for years!
Particularly poignant are some of John;s suits which he was best known for!
This whole room was filled level with the piano keys with stuff.
