History
The Kingsway building in Kings Heath was designed as a cinema in 1925, but later reopened as a bingo hall in 1980. It closed in 2007 and was burned down in September 2011.
The Explore
It was interesting to see how much things had changed since the 28DL 2012 report and the pre-fire reports from 2010; the majority of the side rooms had been stripped almost bare and the back half of the hall was covered in rubble, the ground was very unstable to walk on in some areas however I did manage to make it to the roof. It was interesting being able to watch people go by completely obliviously.
