Evening all,
Processed and edited enough to make my 1st set of photos from my most recent Germany tour to make a report so here it is.
This old church was next door to another old house which will be featured in another report and was entered in the usual UE stylie. This church on the other hand, was permission as the caretaker lived in the beautiful grounds which we found out after making quite a public effort to access the Schloss next door after the previous day. We ventured back to this place after missing out due to last light of the previous day as it was on the route going West on our last full day as the old caretakers instistence on not speaking a word of English and general air of not being arsed meant we revisited. We negotiated the way in the following day with 10 euros each after being quoted 50 which was met with host's bartering skills especially considering a public tour inside the Schloss was 2 euro each!
Having gained access, we were given the keys to wander around and accessed the bell tower which was a cramped, one shot wonder, but would have been impossible if we had accessed the Kirche in the traditional sense. The access which was used in previous weeks, was now sealed up so the negotiation paid off.
On with some photos, being a very sunny and warm weekend, we had a great deal of luck weather and explore wise and the interior of this church really cooled us off.
Thanks for looking in.
