Evening all,
Just a small report on this place as it was last light and there isn't a great deal here to photograph. We arrived after a day of wandering through forests, hiding from security and the police. We were Beelitz and Krampnitz'd out by the end of the day. We were only 2 miles from our pre-booked hotel and was on the plans as one I would like to see so there was enough time to hit this first before our food, showers and beds for the night.
Beautiful old building as you can see below. Looking at the photos, not much has changed besides the attempt to secure it in various ways that have been broken.
Sketchy history but apparently over 100,000 people were processed through this old Crematorium. The area where the "business" went on was more or less in total darkness. The whole site itself was overgrown and the main shot of the building used to be more impressive with the double doors which were now covered in undergrowth not to mention all the steps leading up to it.
Had a bit of time regardless of the light so did even manage to use the 50mm on the last photo.
Thanks for looking in.
