Mine B. Be. Beware the floors
Ok after a night time recce of hf6 we declined to sleeping in the car (well trying to ) . I woke around 6.30 with a real bad feeling about hf6 ( i think i have the fear ) on sharing my thoughts with the rest of the guys we decided to leave it for another trip and moved onto Mine B. and we were not disappointed .
1.
Now looking at out google map we noticed a residential area so we decided to park up here and walk through a small wooded area which brought us to the bottom of a masoooooooove slag heap (not the female sort ) .
2.
Thinking back i seem to remember that Odbin Ravin and Crucial Moose said we needed to climb to the top and drop down the other side in front of the mine , so of we went ....after about half hour climbing a wet, muddy, steep heap we had reached the top and had started out decent ...
3.
Talk about a bunch of urbex n00bs.........we ended up about 100 yards away form were we started and had to reclimb the 7 foot fence to get onto the path that if we would have followed eventually would have put us were we wanted to be ......access fail ....
4.
All the hard work was well worth the effort , id say best location on the tour .
I would have loved to spend a day in here and i know we missed loads of stuff ....heres a few bits of what we did see .....
