Booked a table for four with live entertainment, turned out he was a fire breather and he had a little accident while practicing for the show :angry2:

If you like grunge then this is the place for you, in the middle floor your walking in about a inch (about 25mm to you youngsters) deep of white slime.

the fire was confined to the top floor where the main hall was, the ground floor suffered from mostly water damage and the white slime is the false celling tiles crumbling with the heat above and mixing with the water. This was my second visit (The first was in the dark) and they have started to clear the place out, rumour is that its getting rebuilt into a small factory. But who knows??

Oh My god this one is way past the point sploring and think you should have moved swiftly on im afraid.

The fire really has consumed all leaving little or nothing to work around.

But can see at the same time the location has allowed you to get some camera time in and have also taken the time to share.

Sorry dont mean to be harsh or rude at all and hope not taken that way.

And none taken, years ago I had spent many a good time upstairs watching some good shows and its sad to see it this way. I know its a little far gone, but I feel that I have recorded what was left of a good little workingman's club, before it does get rebuilt or pulled down.

I also wished I had taken time to do the same for the Naval Club not far down the road which ended up the same way, this was where 40 years in March I met my Mrs.

That’s cool and can understand within what you’ve said regarding both its sentimental attachments as well as documenting its demise.

Sounds as if you have a mad arsonist running around down that way.
