Now decommissioned, this was Belgium's largest thermal power station and is genuinely massive inside. The hugely impressive turbine hall shows how the power station was expanded to cope with increased demand with turbines from the 60's era up to more modern 90's beasts.
I could have happily wandered around this colossus of heavy industry all day, but a tight schedule meant it was a much shorter visit, i still had time to stand and take in this monster of a place though.
Report is a bit pic heavy but could have posted sooo much more so think yourself lucky !
