PowerPlant-X - LUX -2013

Finally got a chance to pop out to do some photography after a hectic last few months (happy days)!! One location we visited on a long weekend to Europe was Powerplant-X. Bit of a mysterious name to this place but this seems to be what most people call it. It’s a relatively small part derelict (part live) PowerStation in Luxembourg consisting of a large turbine hall which seems to be partly in use and an older building full of walkways, gantries and pipes. On the small stroll between the two buildings one of our party spends a few seconds too long outside on the external shot and pays a heavy price as he’s busted by security (who then decide to call the police). After a couple of hours of shooting oily pipes and rusty stuff in the second building we finally decided to phone the missing person and lean the full story (he’d been calling my other phone back in the hotel).
