A sanatorium deep in the mountains of northern Italy.
It was built as a children sanatorium to prevent and cure tuberculosis and closed in the 70's of the last century.
The decline is well advanced in the abandoned building for many years.
With its wide staircases, the large dormitories, and the necessary equipment then available, the sanatorium became the hospital between August and November 1944.
Even an operating room was built in the remote building and a small in-house chapel.
Today, not much is left of all this. Only the room with the chapel is still almost completely furnished.
The building leaves a sunny impression despite its decay and destruction.
The warm colors inside suggest a former friendly atmosphere in this house.
