At 1100 meters altitude, in the mountains of northern Italy, lies the "Red Cross Hospital".
This former sanatorium was closed around 1980 and has since been subject to decay.
Children and their families were accommodated here to relax in the fresh mountain air and the Italian sunshine.
In the large bedrooms there are still several metal beds and the ceiling of the chapel is decorated with a large red cross.
These sanatoriums were run by ecclesiastical orders. In Italy, these sanatoriums were called "colonia elioterapica" (heliotherapeutic colonies).
There are still many details to see.
