Sad to see the level of graffiti here given that it was scheduled in 2001. It had very little in 2008. The guns would have been 3.7's although not permanently mounted. The Battery was part of the 'Igloo' scheme of 78 air defence sites. A further 600, including WW2 HAA sites, were mobilised at the outbreak of the Korean War. This one was retained until 1955.
