Pianoforte is one of those locations that has been around for what seems like forever, it closed almost thirty years back and although most of the site has been picked bare one absolute total utter gem of a building is left behind, full to the brim with machinery, tools and other equipment so rusty you are scared to even so much as cough on something in case it falls apart. The colours and textures in here have to be seen to be believed.
It's the most beautiful natural decay I have ever seen, I could spend an entire day here photographing all the finer details of a place that really shouldn't exist any more. So much so I went twice this weekend....I first visited this half earlier this year and this is kind of a continuation of that.
After some clambering we got into the upstairs which is slightly underwhelming.
