Visited with Lavino under the cover of dark.  Slipped in and made our way to top gangways to avoid secca who was on site in his van with the hounds......​

Waited for the sun to rise and off exploring we went.  Had a great time and avoided secca on way out for a drama free trip.​

 ​

The original company was formed as a partnership in 1873 (becoming a limited company in 1881) by John Brunner and Ludwig Mond.  Brunner Mond became part of ICI in 1926 and then separated out again in 1991. They were brought by Tata Chemicals in 2006 and re-branded as such.  The bulk of produce is Sodium Carbonate used in chemistry and domestic household products.   The site is scheduled for demo but not sure on dates.
