By now I'm sure everyone has heard of it and a fair few have visited at least one of the SSi owned sites in redcar so I wont go into the history and recent events which lead to yet another industrial giant going out of business in the UK, makes you wonder if we will make or produce anything at all in the years to come...
First visited this place with @Hydro3xploric and @Butters although I may of told them I had a rough idea of the best route to take to the power station, I more or less winged it all the way ( and it worked ) that's besides having to hide from a few random patrols, as they always are at this place :whyu:
After a long night we headed home satisfied with the nights escapades but I still wanted to head back to try and find a few bits we had missed, after getting home at 7 in the morning and getting a few hours kip I was awoke by a message from @ACID-REFLUX asking if I wanted to do the power station, again  later that night we headed into the blizzard and arrived in Redcar, parked up and more or less strolled into the place only spotting a couple of patrols in comparison with the ridiculous amount the night before, seems they slack off at the weekends!
Anyway on with the pictures
Luckily there wasn't as many of the yellow HPS lights as there was in the blast furnace!
I found a rag and cleaned part of the tubine up a little
This one looked like it had been decommissioned for quite a while
Underneath the Turbine hall
Fed up of seeing Turbine wrote anywhere and everywhere I had a look in the boiler house
After this I set about hunting for the control room and after walking up the noisiest staircase in the world I found what I was looking for, I went and grabbed acid and we rather cautiously had a look inside
Note the working cctv pointing into the boiler house and turbine hall, be careful if you visit in the daytime
Yoink, yoink and more yoink
Loads of laughs on both visits , spent the weekend of my 21st running around here, great fun!
Cheers for looking sorry it was a long one!
