St Gobbys (Visited 2012)- 2013

[The Elusive]

Old factory, backing on to the private line owned by neighbouring factory. Its connected by road to another of staffords last remaining factories which closed down a few years ago and is subjected to the diggers this week!

This place is completley in accessible now. Such a shame I'm not sure if anyone else has ever been here i did gain access to the main factory by crawling through a machine... it felt very james bond!

Second floor Stuffs, alot of raw asbestos and pidgeons figured it was a crappy combo so I didnt fook around!

I really like these type of explores but its always sad to think that all these factories employed the locale and whose lives were no doubt wrecked to an extent by their closure.Well done for your tenacity in cracking this one.

Funny story, Showed my grandpa my explore photobook I've made and pics 8 and 11 of this set features a large ventilation tube, my grandad made that!!!!! he was also apparently one of the overseers for the entire factory in its last legs of production!!! ....
