The Church Of Rather Annoying Vines
This building was difficult to find any usable history upon due to the village being pretty much a road with a house or two and thus isn't well documented and the church is seemingly forgotten about.
This current St Peter's church was constructed in 1811 using fragments of the previous church and operated until 1959 when the building fell into disuse. After this the Diocese of Lincoln declared the structure of no more use and sold it into private hands.
Historic England has since declared the church a Grade II listed monument in a "Unsatisfactory Condition" and declining.
As the title suggests this was documented over two visits. First on a weekend dedicated to smaller buildings within Lincs and later in 2020 as a quick stop on the way home. Very little has changed apart from the large window, or whats left of it, becoming covered in a large wooden board.
Anyway, that's enough photos for such a small building.
