The textile laundry will remain where it is for the next few years and will continue to fall into disrepair. The city has now announced this. Due to the difficult financial situation, it is currently impossible to remove the ruins. The entire dismantling is estimated at around 5 million euros.
Unfortunately, it is not known exactly when the company was founded. In 1918 it changed hands and was converted into a VEB after the war. The company was still active after the fall of the Berlin Wall, but was closed at the end of the 1990s. After a major fire, it just rots away.
