The church with the collapsed tower (07/2016)

The church was built in the second half of the 19th century.​

Its tower collapsed in 2014 or 2015. Thereby, unfortunately several frescoes and ceiling paintings were destroyed.​

Now the bell tower (still) stands crosswise inside the nave. But I think it's just a matter of time before it finally will collapse.​

 ​

The grave in front of the church was plundered in the past.​

From the open crypt came a bestial smell of putrefaction, probably from a dead animal. Therefore, I didn't go down and didn't take any photos inside the tomb.​

Still pretty cool with the old paintings despite it being collapsed. Are you sure the smell wasn't @MiaroDigital taking a shit? oo

Pretty cool that you can still see the paintings despite the building being basically a wreck.
