Another "oldie".
The crematorium was put into operation in 1910. Its system for lowering the coffins based on water pressure.
After 1980 the first funeral hall was closed, the complete crematory was finally closed down in the early 90s.
Afterwards the furnaces were dismantled and scrap-thieves did the rest...
The cross of the funeral hall has also been stolen in the meanwhile. :whyu:
