After a brief break from exploring due to a high work volume, it was good to get out again. Mookster stayed round my house and we set off to Cambridge early in the morning, where I finally met another fellow forum member.
It was nice to get inside a nicely decayed, derelict but generally un-physically decayed location.
This little care home presumably closed because of changes in legislation requiring en-suite facilities in bedrooms. Paperwork suggests a closure of around 2000.
This old girl is a wonderful example of what its like to leave nature to take over a building. Lots of lovely photogenic areas inside here.
