Germany The pool at the river - March 2020

This outdoor swimming pool was built and opened in terraces directly on the river as early as 1958.
After the city decided to run only one bath, it was closed after almost 50 years.

A few years later an association tried to put it back into operation and cultural events were held there.

Unfortunately, neither was successful and the outdoor pool is now empty.

I can quite imagine this setting looked really nice in the spring months. Nicely done.

Nice to see this place popped up again.
I was there over a year ago. The little changing rooms have been thrown into the pool since then, but at least there are luckily still no graffiti on the walls inside the swimming pool.
